*SOLD* Eastman Model 80 for sale *PRICE DROP*

Eastman Model 80. $1150. Located in Thousand Oaks, CA (Ventura County). Local pickup only. Contact Larry at 805-208-9874 or leullman_at_verizon_dot_net.

High-quality, Chinese-made student instrument. This model is laminated, 3/4 size. Specs are available on Eastman's site.

Was purchased from and setup by luthier Lisa Gass of LA Bassworks in 2009 for my 13-year-old daughter, who decided that orchestra isn't for her after one year. (Sigh.) Is in near-new condition; there two insignificant scratches on the back near the bottom - see the detail photo.

The fingerboard and tailpiece are ebony; tailpiece hanger is aircraft cable. Lisa told me the strings were upgraded, but I'm not sure what they are. (For you string geeks, they're sort of blue/violet on both ends, with colored tips at the peg end.)

Includes stock Eastman bag (nice quality) and an upgraded French bow.
