*SOLD* Eastman VB100 w/ case, bow, rosin, cleaning rag, and books! $2300 OBO

This is a BEAUTIFUL bass: PERFECT for a beginner (or even a pro!). The bass is a used 3/4 size 2005 Samuel Eastman laminated VB-100. It has bridge adjusters. String length is 42 inches. Pickup easily added for jazz playing. The tone is gorgeous! You cannot go wrong with this bass! I have played this bass for four years. With it I have received superior ratings at OMEA Solo and Ensemble Contest, Principal Chair in the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra, membership in the Westerville Symphony Orchestra, multiple regular swing orchestra gigs, honor bands, and college auditions. I am also including a case, a German bow, a cake of rosin, a cleaning rag, and a set of Dr. Morton's Miraculous Scale and Arpeggio books! The case is a wonderful, soft case that provides plenty of protection to the instrument. It comes with two bow sleeves: one for a French bow and one for a German bow. This bass has been heavily used so there are signs of use on the bass and the case, but it is still a fantastic instrument. I am headed to music school this fall and I am now looking to upgrade.

This is a wonderful opportunity! DON'T MISS OUT!!!

I'm asking for $2300 OR BEST OFFER for this entire package.

I am located in Columbus, OH (GO BUCKS!), but I am willing to meet elsewhere.

PM me if interested.

Thanks in advance for your interest!
Aidan

Nice. I've played some of these and find them to be quite good instruments....can I get a price minus the cleaning rag...

Lol. I'll do some calculations.

And I must agree with you. All the Eastmans I've tried have been wonderful, including this one!

If you like the bass and aren't too hard up for bread, keep it. You'll wish you had a backup/knock-around axe, if you make a significant upgrade.

I would love to keep it as a combat bass, but sadly I need the cash to make the upgrade. This bass has served me well in the 4 years I've had it, and I'm sure it would make a great combat bass!
