I bought my Ergo about a year ago, and since then it has seen very light use. I think it's a wonderful-sounding instrument, and once amplified, I think it can sound every bit as good as some much more expensive EUBs out there. I am not selling it because I don't like it, but for that age-old reason: bills to pay, tough financial times.
I am not a gigging bassist, and I have yet to have the time to put into really practicing my upright skills, so this bass really hasn't been played very much. There is some very minor fingerboard wear, but the instrument has been very well-cared for. No dings, gouges, etc. Finish is in great shape.
The bass is in the classic finish, which is a dark mahogany stain. The bridge is setup with the high action, which mimics most closely the feel, attack, and sustain characteristics of a solidbody DB. This does not sound or play like a "P-bass on a stick".
I have done a couple of minor mods to get this guy sounding and operating its best: I have upgrading the stock strings (an absolute necessity; the stock strings serve no purpose but to hold the bridge on in shipping) to Corellis. The difference of the string upgrade is huge. These strings have, again, seen very light use. They are 1/2 size strings, so no modification to the strings, bridge, or body was needed to fit them.
I have done the necessary adjustment of the bridge to get the piezo sounding right. I have also placed a strategic piece of tape inside the stand to make it fit more solidly without any rattle or buzz. The tape is inside the telescoping column, so it's not visible.
The bass comes with the stand but no case (as it does from the maker).
Price is $525 plus shipping. To buy this bass new would be $650, plus $100 for the strings, and with mine, you get it already setup to play and sound perfect, without having to wait a month for it to built, or having to mod it out of the box.
