*SOLD* F/S: 1976 Anton Shroetter 3/4" Bass

Hey gang:

selling my circa 76 Anton Shroetter 3/4 scale bass. Asking $500/obo. I'm not dreadfully sure what these go for, but am basing it on an ad I saw on here for one in far worse shape, and a few other web searches. If you think there's a good basis for another price, let me know.

Local pickup/sale only. No shipping. But, I'm moving in a couple weeks so I really want to get this out of the house right away...so I can be flexible.

I've not played this since probably 82. I'm pretty much all electric these days. I used this for a few years in high school and college, and then, well, it was more fun to play in bar bands than orchestras or other things.

I recall the bass sounded pretty good to me back in the day, but from reading comments on here and elsewhere, it's fairly clear these are just decent student model basses.

Comes complete with French bow and soft case.
The tail piece wire is broken, so the bridge is loose (but safely stored away). Strings are original, so no doubt they need to be changed.

If someone is seriously interested, I'll take it out of the case and shoot some pics, but frankly, I'm terribly busy with the house packing that I barely have time to post this.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Here's a quick pic. Looks plywood to me, but I'm no DB expert.

The rest are at:

You'll have to ignore the very 70's polka dotted bandanna thing...an error from my misspent youth! Seriously, it was there to protect the finish from the tailpiece, etc rubbing against the body.

Also I put a piece of leather thru the tailpiece to hold it generally in place. I have the original tailpiece (in the pic with the bridge).
