*SOLD* FS: Ergo 7 string EUB

I'm selling my Ergo 7 string EUB. Built of course by Jesse Blue.

$800 shipped CONUS.

It's a 42" scale, tuned low F# to C. This was Jessie's personal bass that he made for himself. As such, it has a few things that he doesn't typically offer.

- Rotary tuners, like the ones on the Willis bass. They are very well made and quite attractive, with blueish inlays around the edges.
- Plexi/ceramic headstock wings and nut.
- Blue LED markers. Powered by a battery on the back side with a flat toggle switch. Very, very cool, and people seem to go ga-ga when I've turned them on. Sometime I just turn the lights off, flip the LED's on and stare at it for 5 minutes :-)

I'm selling it because I've recently purchased a double again, and I'm not putting it down any time soon :-) That, and I'd like to re-coup some of my costs from the double. I also don't play it as much since I landed a Veillette Mk 4 fretless...I'm playing it exclusively in one of my bands now. I really don't want to sell the Ergo, as it's obviously one of a kind. I recall Jessie saying he's not going to be making one the same way for the general public, I think because the LED's were a huge PITA (but they are so cool!).

There's are pics of the bass here.

In addition, there are a few other things of note:

- I've replaced the stock piezos. He uses a brass buzzer style typically (from what I've seen/read/heard). I did a ton of different experimenting and testing, and ended up with a product from Artec. You can read more in the Ergo Megathread if you like: Ergo Megathread part I

- Also mentioned in the thread, I've carved different bridges for the bass. I will include two of them (1 maple, 1 purpleheart), and another purpleheart block blank that I have.

I'm located in CT and willing to travel within 50 miles to avoid shipping, should the option arise. I get down to NYC as well, so that's always an option.

I've only had a few transactions here so far on Talkbass, so if you want to be assured of my "rep", you can check me out on Ebay; revenantshade.

Any other questions, just ask. Thanks for looking!
