I have a Genuine Kay Bass Viol for sale. According to its serial number, it was manufactured in/around 1949.
Because of it's age, the finish is a bit rough in some spots. But, it sounds great, even though I never had it professionally set up.
I'm sure if it were set up proper, it would sound fantastic.
There is a large chip on the back left upper corner, and the seam at the bottom of the bass looks like it may need to be re-sealed. It also needs new strings.
I live in San Diego, CA and would prefer to sell to someone within a 100 - 200 mile radius, but I will ship if you're willing to pay for it.
