*SOLD* FS: Golihur French Bow

This is the bow the is advertised on Bob Golluhur's website site. Very lightly used, about a year or so old, but I decided to concentrate on German bow. Appears to have enough hair, a few minor nicks. I was really pleased with this bow. Selling for $85 which includes shipping as well to the lower 48 in a secure tube. Paypal only.

Here's some info from Bob's website about this older batch bows, and there is a picture there that is a good representation of the bow. Be sure to check out the picture there.

I was delighted to find another dependable supplier for wonderful wood bows at a low price. A few years ago, I sold a batch of special French bows that were a one-time deal, and spent almost two years finding an equally great maker. Available this time in both French and German (Butler), I've received many happy emails from customers like the following (more at the bottom of the page):
"Bob, My son thinks his new bow is terrific and, quite frankly, the tonality is wonderful! Can't wait for the Saturday night concert... Thanks much. Greg, In Pennsylvania". 2-28-03
And check out this thread on TalkBass.com. And here's another. Need I say more??

They have octagonal Brazilwood sticks with a fully lined ebony frog, and go for only $148! The French weighed in at around 135g, the German around 136g, and the balance feels very good. The photo is just slightly outdated, as I requested they use something more durable than the silver wire wrap; they now come with a b/w striped plastic, like my personal bow-- and that has held up since 1964, so it's a good thing!

I can get bows to sell for a cheaper price, you can easily find "brazilwood bows" for under $100, heck, go on eBay and get one for $35! I can get them, too, but I won't. It comes down to one simple thing: do you just want to be able to tell somebody you have a brazilwood bow, or do you actually want to be able to tell when you play it?? The excellent reviews for these bows over the last four years speak for themselves.
