*SOLD* FS Joseph Weiss Carved Bass

******SOLD******

I have a European (probably Romanian) Carved bass that I purchased in 2005 from Chuck Levins in DC. The basses are imported for Chuck Levins. The label in the bass says Joseph Weiss 2005 Imported for Chuck Levins Washington Music. I have had the bass for two years and have had absolutley no problems with the construction and performance of the bass. I am only selling the bass because it is a 41 inch scale bass and I can not get used to it. I learned on a 43 inch scale bass and played it for over 10 years and I am having a very difficult time getting used to 41 inches which a much more normal string legnth. I discovered this when I got a plywood Englehgardt as my backup. It is a 42 and I can play it much more easily than the nicer carved bass. I am selling this bass with a Gage Realist Pickup, $526 Reunion Blues "Heavily Padded Bag". The bass is strung with a fairly new set of Obligato strings.

I am asking $3000 for the bass with the pickup and the bag. I would entertain partial trades for other plywood basses or possibly an EUB or electric but am not looking for a straight trade. I am located near Richmond VA and am only looking for a regional/local deal. I can/will not ship an URB. Please email for Pics and more info.

BTW, the bass has no cracks and has never neded any repairs.

I will also sell it with a cheaper bag for $2500.00.

I also have a Coda Revelation carbon fiber French bow that am looking to possibly sell. I could do it as part of this deal or as a separate deal.

As stated above, I would be interested in partial trades for electric basses or possibly another plywood bass. I have been thinking and I guess I would consider an even trade for the right electric bass or basses or EUB. Ken Smith, Lakland, ect or an Azola EUB. Feel free to run offers by me.
