*SOLD* FS: One Gorgeous Gamut Unwound Pistoy A (light)

With a heavy heart I offer this beautiful string up for sale. It sounds incredible and is less than a week old. I love the string but I can't keep it. I am asking it to do so many things well and it absolutely shines at almost all of them. Today I realized that I can't bow it as fast as I would like in an open position which is something I do a lot in my "fiddle" style playing. Jeez, it just hurts. Otherwise it generates a massive bass sound pizzed or bowed. The upper register is surprisingly brilliant and easy to finger (the best A string I've ever played up high). Of course it slaps like a Romanian machine gun and that alone makes even the average slapper sound like a god. Do I sound sad, I am. I paid $216 for this golden beauty and I'll sell it for $175. Do yourself a favor and buy this string.

Question gauge?

Hi Jason,
What do es 'light' translate into gauge-wise?
Thanks,
Mike

hmm...well...3.80

3.80 is what he has on the site but I can't verify it because I don't have anything to measure it. It is a big string, there is no doubt about it, but it is very supple, smooth and responsive. The adjustment is more visual than physical. I didn't notice it after a day.

Congrats Jason. I meant to write just to say thanks for helping me way-back-when on choosing strings. You're a good guy.
