*SOLD* FS: Pirastro Flexocor Mediums for NS Design Basses $40

Set of four. EADG, which I had on the bass for about a month with low usage before selling my NS Design CR Bass for a special order one that never came to be, so I no longer need the strings.

The Flexocor Mediums were my favorite for the NS Design CR bass for pizz, even though it is regarded as an orchestral string (will work on any of the CR,NXT,or WAV basses as well.) Has a nice warm and dark sound which gives the NS a more gutlike sound, but retains the projection and longevity being a steel string.

$40 shipped in the US.

Okay, I'll bite. Original Flexocores or Flexocore 92's? Not that it matters much to me. You've cut them, right? I have a WAV so I know they'll fit. I'm using Corellis right now, and even they have too much sustain for the WAV. Obligatos were better sustain-wise but now they're old and trashed.

They are the '92s and are pending payment right now, but if it falls through, I'll let you know.

I agree with you about wanting a shorter sustain for the NS Design Basses. The instrument itself sustained so well that it needs strings with shorter sustain to get a more traditional decay.
