The SB-90 is Shen's blonde finish all-laminate model. It has a spruce laminate top, maple laminate back and sides, maple neck, gold embossed halfplate tuners, ebony nut, ebony fingerboard, and ebony tailpiece saddle, dyed maple tailpiece, steel rod endpin, maple bridge with aluminum adjusters and D'Addario Helicore Hybrid strings.
Dimensions are: Top length 43 1/2", Upper bout width 20", Middle bout width 14 1/4", Lower bout width 26 1/4", Depth at neck 6 1/2", Depth at upper bout bend 8", Depth at tail 8 7/8", String length 41 1/4".
This bass has been professionally set up by Jeff Sahs in Sacramento, CA. I bought it new in late October 2010, so it's close to new. It sounds and plays great and is in excellent condition. I will supply it with an upgraded carrying cover with thick padding, a fiberglas French bow, a Hercules double bass stand and an instruction book, all for $1399. I will not ship it (unless you want to ship me a transit case and pay the shipping), you will need to come pick it up in San Francisco.
