i dont know how old these are as i got them from another tb'er. i had them on my bass for about 3 weeks. the silks on the peg end on the g and d are pretty much gone and the silk on the a is gone on the tailpeice side. really good sounding strings, im using evahs right now and dont see these going back on my bass. $40 shipped in the u.s. paypal preferred
