*SOLD* FS: Upton Bass UB Standard

SOLD ~~For sale~~ is my Upton Bass UB Standard laminate 3/4 double bass that is in showroom condition. The bass has a very minimal amount of playing time on it, literally just a few hours. The bass has never left my humidity-controlled studio. The neck is straight and there are no nicks, dings, scratches, cracks or splits on it. Also included is a new Mooradian double bass bag, an Ingles double bass stand and all the original documentation from Upton Bass.

I had it made for me less than a year ago with the idea of learning to play the upright but I find myself always playing my electric basses and I cannot justify owning a bass that I don’t play.

UB Standard laminate double bass
Gamba corners
Solo fingerboard extension
Adjustable bridge
Revolution SOLO II bass pickup
Thomastik Spirocore S42 strings (medium)

I am asking $2200 OBO. Cash, PayPal or USPS money order accepted. Local pickup only (I would be willing to meet a buyer at a reasonable distance).

Larry had me down this afternoon to play this bass and its every bit as clean and nice as he says it is. Hopefully its still around next week after my stuff gets sorted out so I can make a move on it.
