I had the MI-225, and had the dough to try the new stuff and experience the additional headroom. What am I playing now? For URB: GK 200MB. If I need more volume I can add my Bergantino HT112. For electric gigs I have an Ashdown ABM 500 or Ampeg B25B. The other part of my decision is to fund a car for my son. There you have it,...a highly personal response for the world to see.... or, TMI!? |

| | | | Thanks Larry.
I'll get back to you on the amp.
can i recommend a corrola for your son? I can fit a DB, BG, SVT, 4x10 and 15 in mine! great on gas, virtually no maintenance.
thanks much.

I didn't realize how fantastic the woods was until I compared it to the focus head-to-head.
Someone really needs to buy this head. |

I'm not so sure I want to sell it now. It's just the most open, airy sound I've heard on upright. How guys compare it to a Markbass or Focus I never understood. Night and Day. |

I'm warming up to the sound of the focus (more compressed, way less high end, very very different), but I've concluded I can never sell my WWU - I'm willing it to the kids!

For my purposes 650 is fine. I'm doing jam sessions and (some) gigs with my trusty GK 200MB (100w).
But, there's nothing (that I've heard) that sounds like a Woods. |
