Walter's Amps sometimes take 6 months to get, since he is building
them by hand (with a little help from his wife as I understand it). The Woods amplifiers for sale on TB tend not to have the inflated prices that they do on eBay.

Ric and Nathan,
Thanks for the props and info.

Kevin,
Compared to everything else there usually aren't more than 1 or 2 WW's for sale.
I believe mine's the only one on TB (of the newer models).

Nathan,
Actually, It's never taken him any longer than 3 months to build an amplifier for me. One possibility is that I've purchased two different amps from him so I'm a repeat customer. My guess is that he tends to build more Ultra's and the Super Hi is kind of like buying a "special order" but that's only a guess. Some one should definitely buy this amp.

The Walter Woods Electracoustics are great amps, and someone should buy this one. If you are worried that it's not an Ultra and won't have enough power, that shouldn't be a concern IMO. I have a 300-watt, green-light hi power Electracoustic, and it has plenty of power, even for playing Fender bass with a loud R&B band.

I have no connection with this sale. I'm just a happy Walter Woods amp owner.

I had a mid-90's Woods 450w @ 4ohms. I wanted to try the newer amp (the one I'm selling) with its increased wattage/headroom (650w). I agree with Robgrow, I had plenty of power at 450w. For some gigs, I have plenty of power with a 100w GK MB.
