*SOLD* FT: Carruthers SUB-1 Electric Upright Bass

I got this bass from a fellow TBer a while back for touring purposes. It sounds great and performed flawlessly but is now being replaced by a BSX EUB that I finally got a hardcase for. This bass breaks down and assembles extremely easily (see Carruthers Guitars link below for details) and is extremely sturdy for gigging. The preamp is a two band model and the bass comes with metal stand, cheap bow and gig bag.

Full specs here:

http://www.carruthersguitars.com/

For trades I'm looking for a 4-string fretted or fretless bass, preferably Jazz or P style, but I'll entertain other offers. I'm also looking for MarkBass NYC cabs.

Right...thought there was some rule saying you had to state a price. Never mind! BTW, I had one these years ago, had the 2 band EQ like this one, sounded good. John talked in into going for an upgrade to the 3 band he had just started offering. But looking back, the 2 band EQ allways sounded better to me.

Yes, when you're selling.

I own a Carruthers, BTW, but replaced the bridge and removed all the electronics.

Only looking for trades on this one right now. I may post it for sale at a later date if there's no takers for a trade.

Carruthers Bass

I think that's my old bass. Absolutely beautiful sound. Traded it for an Electroline 5 string fretless. Still miss it, but nothing to trade... wah...

Any interest in a "well used" Warmoth P-bass, black with maple neck?

Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't have a subscription/notification set for this thread. Carruthers is still available if interested.
