*SOLD* German Plywood For Sale $800

German Plywood Bass – 1970’s 41” string length. This has been my back-up instrument for years. It is in solid condition and has a strong ply sound. It would be a great bass for a beginner or someone needing an instrument for jam sessions, outdoor gigs etc. Bridge has adjusters, bass includes Fishman pick-up and quiver. The bass had one major repair. (I only mention this as it can be seen in the pics and may raise some questions.) It is a neck graft, which was done in 1996 by a NYC luthier. It is not problematic and does not affect the playability of the bass,

$800.00 PM or Contact Paul at pkivory@aol.com The bass is located in northeast New Jersey.

I'm not sure I understand your question. For a ply bass it's got a pretty big sound. It's not thin if that's what you are asking. Hope that helps.

I don't understand the question either. I played this bass when I was at the sellers house and was very impressed. I bought the Bohemian he was selling and am totally satisfied with the transaction. This plywood has a nice big sound and bows a lot better than an 800 dollar bass should. Add the pickup, bag and quiver and this thing is a steal. It's only here because a student of mine is too lazy to go try it and buy it. If I could figure out a need for this bass it would be mine.
Peace.

What I meant by that was thin and nasally. Sounds like a steal, but I don't have the money quite yet.
