I have bass. top is sprus, back and side are plywood. maple neck gold head machine. Actually, It is USA made even because I bought it ten years ago in US. At that time there were no chinese bass. No brand name anyway, but sound is ok for jazz, and never been fixed anyway. Neck is great condition, and no problem on fingerborad. Cheap case and Franch student bow included. can be traded any electric bass.
I will sell it only locally in NY area.
Moreover, it needs to set up such as cutting brige, buying new string (It has srings though but not useful I think) , and fixing end pine which needs to be smooth.
If you want to be back up bass for jazz or any practice bass, this is the best economic choice.
