k, so i've settled my anal retentive string search for the moment, as a result i've some goodies to get rid of:
set of aguila nylguts. my set had a defective D string, by the time i'd gotten the replacement from italy, i'd moved on ... they sound fabulous, but have a shellac finish which i wasn't fond of ... they're pretty impossible to score in this country. barely used G-A-E (as in maybe a week), new D. $80 shipped.
set of kolstein heritage. i love these strings ... they really sound remarkable. the E has almost no mileage on it, as i scored the stark E to try and kept with it. nonetheless the set is maybe six weeks old or so ... $80 shipped.
spirocore stark E. monster sound. $25 shipped.
