*SOLD* Strunal DB 50/4 ply good shape

I bought this bass on behalf of my church several years ago here at talkbass. I bought it from Mike Childree. When we had an orchestra and another DB player, it was played quite a bit. However, that player is no longer at our church nor do we use an orchestra. I am the only DB player around these days, and when we use DB, I play mine anyway. So, the bass is taking up a great deal of room in at the church.

The bass is a Strunal 50/4 plywood. Ebony fittings. It plays fine and sounds pretty nice for a ply. As you can see in the photos, the bass was stripped of the poly-gunk and re-finished with an oil finish. This was done by Mike before he sold it to the church.

There are no issues with the bass that I am aware of. It is currently fitted with a K&K pickup that fits in the bridge wing. This is included. A decent bag that is in pretty good shape as well is also included.

The bass is at the church, so we would have to arrange for local folks to check it out. I do not think that shipping is a viable option at this time. I would be willing to drive the bass a modest distance for delivery -- up to a 100-150 miles or so. The church is in the St. Peters/Harvester area of St. Charles county, MO. Metro St. Louis.

If you are interested in a very solid starter, this is a fine bass for just that. $1350. If you need to use paypal, I can arrange to accept the payment through my paypal account and deliver the funds to the church if they do not have a paypal account.

Please contact me if there are further questions. I will make every effort to get back to you ASAP. However, please note that I am acting on behalf of my church, so I can not act unilaterally. There may be delays. Of course any questions that require me to review the bass will be delayed until I can get over to see it.

I couldn't find the specs for the bass online. I will be over at the church this week. I will get the measurements and post them.
