Hey Ron,

I've never directly compared this amp to the GK, so I can't help much there. I do know that the SWR supplied me with all the power I ever needed with plenty to spare. The second channel is nice because you can run a mike with your pickup, and the tweeter gives you a pretty full-range sound. We've even used it for an impromptu mini-PA system.
