I have the G, D and A from the Thomastik Dominant set. I had the D and A on my bass for only a couple days. The G is brand new never installed.
These strings are loud, punchy and have a great pizz sound. They are also very clear and ring with great overtones. For bowing they would need some breaking in...and I have already done some of that. These strings have a ton of life left in them and they are in perfect condition-I never even came close to wrapping the metal around the peg.
