*SOLD* Tom Owen German Bow

I'm shifting to lighter bows with smaller frogs, as a result of hand (arthritis) issues. So I'm finally selling my Tom Owen bow, which is my favorite go-to back up bow.

It's a dark cherry red pernambucco stick. It was just rehaird by Linda West (in Santa Barbara) with terrific black hair (she also reworked the frog a bit and did a rebalancing - she's a protege of Lynn Hannings and does terrific work).

It's a bit heavy (138/140 grams - my scale isn't great) but well balance and pulls a deep, fat sound.

Asking $800 + shipping and happy to send it out on trial.

The bow is back from a lengthy trial by the assistant principal of a major symphony. It "lost out" to a Rubino bow at 3x the price!

The bow is back from Germany. For some reason it was held up in customs, never released to the interested TBer, and then sent back to me. Fortunately it was in a hard case, so it arrived safe and sound.

Bump. I used the bow in a concert last weekend. It's a very fine bow for the money - just about 15-17 grams heavier than the other bows I'm using now, and for me the weight is noticeable.
