*SOLD* Vintage 1940's King Bass for sale

This is a 1940'S King-Moretone Bass which I've had for about 4 years. The serial# on the bass is 10247 or 10243 can't really tell about the last digit!! The string length is 41 1/2 and the bass is a 3/4 bass from what I see and the bass sounds great. I had gut strings on the bass when I was playing it but took them off to put on another bass. I play un-amplified music so, I don't use any pickups or amps.. The bass cuts right through the big band and sounds better away from the bass!!! I'm selling it to try to buy me another bass which I have been wanting for awhile now.. please feel free to ask me any questions about the bass!!! sale= $2500

Carlos-

Here's a bump for a great player! Saw you with Wynton and band March of last year here in Nashville at the new symphony hall - really enjoyed the show. If you sensed someone scrutinizing you not too far away, we were sitting directly in front of you 3 tables from the stage. What bass were you playing that night? An enjoyable program of standard tunes including a Coltrane chart(Favorite Things) with FIVE sopranos, Holey Moley! Good luck with the bass sale.

Ike, I was using this same King bass I'm selling. I had lots of fun playing it and at this point in my career I would like to upgrade my travel bass to something better.. Let me know if you know of anyone interested in the King Bass, I would really appreciate it!!
