*SOLD* Yamaha SVB-200 EUB (with custom pickup/preamp package))

I've put a lot of upgrades into this bass to really bring out its potential:

• Professional jazz setup by Blaise Kielar of the Electric Violin Shop. This bass is a tie for the best setup fingerboard I’ve ever played on a double bass. It is a clear first place, however, for the overall most easily playable double bass I’ve ever played. My hands just don't ever tire out on it.
• Thomastik Spirocore Orchestral strings
• Custom made hardshell flight case from casetechnology.com (a sturdy padded gig bag comes stock with the bass)
• Additional left bout and knee support attachment upgrades offer the contact points and balance of a good acoustic bass
• 2 piezo pickup system: I had a Fishman Full Circle pickup installed to complement the stock pickup. Blending the stock pickup mounted internally on the floating top with the Full Circle creates a far more complex and holographic sound. It sounds much better than the clips you'll hear on Youtube using only the stock pickup.
• Raven Labs Pro Master Blender 2-channel preamp blends the two pickup inputs and allows independent EQing and impedence matching for optimum sound with any amp. This is a top quality preamp and really gives a huge range of flexibility in adjusting the tone of each pickup and the balance between the two.
• Stable tripod stand specifically built for the SLB-200.

This bass has been very well cared for and is in mint condition with the single exception of a small scratch near the saddle that happened when the Full Circle pickup jack slipped off the strings while I was mounting it (see photo). Also, I must note that I bent a gentle curve into the bottom of the endpin to alter the balance of the bass closer to that of an angled endpin (Laborie endpin). Personally, I think it feels great this way, but you could easily swap out the steel pipe for a new straight one if you want.

Here's the total package:

Yamaha Silent Bass: $2700 (Yamaha SVB-200 Bass, brown - Upright Basses)

Fishman Full Circle Upright Bass Pickup $210 (Fishman Full Circle Upright Bass Pickup at Gollihur Music - Double Bass, Upright Bass, String Bass Specialists)

Raven Labs Pro Master Blender (PMB-II) Preamp: $300

Case Technology Inc. Custom-Made Ultralight Flight Case: $300 (Custom Shipping Cases and ATA Cases from Case Technology)

Bass Stand: $212 (http://www.music123.com/Yamaha-Silen...40720.Music123)

Thomastik Spirocore Orchestral Strings: $197 (Thomastik Spirocore Double Bass Strings)

Knee Support: $70 (http://www.music123.com/Yamaha-Silen...20301.Music123)

Bout Extension: $105 (http://www.music123.com/Yamaha-Silen...20303.Music123)

I'm motivated to sell, so I'm only asking $1900, shipping included. The bass will ship in its case, and the stand and the Raven Labs Pro Master Blender in a separate package. They will ship from St. Louis.
