D'Addario's synthetic core string: The Zyex core provides a "gut-like rich and complex tone, combined with power and clarity for both pizzicato and bowing" according to the packaging. They're loud and full, but I don't know about the "complex" part...
I think they're a much better pizz string than a bowing string -- somewhere between Supersensitive's "sensicor" and Obligatos, I guess.
