This one is an older model with a two band preamp. The fingerboard is also not pau ferro; my best guess is that it is ebony. I've never seen ebony with so much tight flame, however. As far as I can tell, the rest of the specifications are the same. I've seen some posts that the fingerboard of Carruthers basses have a very shallow scoop, but I don't find it any harder to bow than my Kay. The bass has some little dings from use, but nothing serious. It has a great sound with the hollow body.
Sale price is $1000 plus shipping. Trades should be worth at least that much (partial trades are fine). I might be interested in bass guitars (especially five strings), or partial trades involving recording equipment, keyboards/controllers, or other stuff. Try me.
