*TRADED* FT: Old Meisel Upright for 5 String BG or EUB

I have something different to throw out there. I have an old Meisel Upright that I'd be willing to trade for a 5 string bass guitar or an EUB. The person I got this from had this back in high school (He's in his mid to late 60's) so I'm guessing it's from the late 50's to early 60's? Could be older if it was a school instrument?

This was stored in an attic since then. It's in very good shape but desperately needs a setup and new strings. I have it strung with a piece meal set of guts right now.

Not sure what it's worth so I guess the offers will gauge it's value.

Be advised that I have no way to ship this but would be willing to drive an hour or two for a deal. I'm in Central PA.

Do you know anything else about it? Is it laminate or carved? One piece or adjustable bridge? Any pics? Thanks

Ask and you shall receive. My guess is it's a laminate bass.

I just grabbed some pictures.

The serial number is: 9000 and the label it says it was made in West Germany by C. Meisel. One other thing is the fingerboard is tapered under the E string.
