*TRADED* For Sale: Labella Guts

Hi All,

I have available a set of Labella Guts (Wound E & A, plain gut D & G). I purchased these just a few days ago, but realized very quickly that the low tension gut thing just isn't for me. My curiosity has been dealt with and now I'm back to Spirocores....

These strings were used when I purchased them - There is a slight separation in the A string windings near the nut (this will obviously depend on the string length of your bass - mine is ~ 41 3/4") and the E is in very good shape. I had the two wound round strings on the bass and tuned up for all of 5 minutes before realizing they just weren't going to work - when you know, you know....

The D & G were on my bass for exactly 22 hours - they're just too low tension for my particular tastes. They are in good condition.

These strings would be a good option for anyone who's curiosity has peaked due to the various Gut threads on this forum. I purchased them last week for $115 US and would take $110 US for them (OBO) plus $5 for shipping if outside of Canada - I would also be more than happy to trade these for a set of used Spirocore Mediums.

Where in Ontario are you? I've got a used set of Spiros lying around somewhere, probably about 2 years old and on the bass for about a year

Those Spiros sound like what I'd be looking for....
