*TRADED* Upton Revolution pickup for sale or trade

I just purchased a brand new upton revolution 1 pickup. Not untill I got it did I realize that my bridge gap is so thin that I would need to file down the bridge. Unfortunately, the seller does not accept returns. The pickup is in mint recieved condition and comes with some wedges uncase your gap is to big. I would like to get a simialer quality pickup that is a clip on type set up. I am not interested in taking of or filing down my bridge for instalation as I am looking for an easy on and off. I would be willing to sell it if no trade offers come in. They run for $160-200 new but I would be willing to sell it for $100 shipped firm. It is located in Erie PA and if you can pick it up there or in Cleveland Ohio, I'll knock $15 off of the asking price. Instalation is extremely easy for MOST basses and you can watch the video on the upton website.

You may be set on selling the pickup off, but I'd point out that it is common for bassists using the Rev. Solo to file down the wood on the pickup itself, making it possible to shimmy it snug into the bridge wingslot. Just FWIW.

True. I have a Rev Solo 1 that has been shaved down and works great.

Yes I understand. The problem is that the minimum is 4mm and the gap is only 2! Shouldn't be a problem on most basses but I would prefer not to edit my bridge for the pickup. I mainly play classical and for some reason pickups look unproffesional to me int he orchestra. I bought this thinking it was an easy on and off (which it is) but didn't realize I would have to edit my bridge. Trust me, if I could just send it back I would! Anyways, just consider this a great way to either save $60 on a pickup or get rid of an old clip on and ge a brand new wedge pickup! (I know I'm not using proper wordege hear, sorry about that).

You won't find wing pickups only 2mm thick.
At least I don't know of any that thin.
Sending you a PM.

If you still wish to sell the pickup, and can accept Paypal, I will take it. Thanks

I certainly didn’t mean to get ahead of Francois Blais if his PM is about buying the pickup. His post wasn’t there when I hit reply. Also, I’m not trying to push you to sell if you can get the pickup to work for you. Thanks.

I PMd him for a trade offer, not to buy it.
