Needs full restoration for best playability.
I can't take time to do this, because I need a bass right now to do professional gigs..So this one is a project that would be awesome for a lutheir or someone not in a hurry to have a great investment...
Solid carved body.
Being sold "As is".
I will be absolutely 100% honest on all.
Structurally sound, numerous cracks, not displaced.
Neck was cracked before I bought it, and I have had it repaired and neck reset by a reputable luthier, Sam Coffey out of Harrison Arkansas approx. 3 months ago.
I have been told by two respected experts that the bass
is over 100 years old,German, but no name has been mentioned by anyoe so far.
