| 1939 Braca Rohrbaca upright bass For Sale
I have a 3/4 size flat back 1939 Braca Rohrbaca upright bass for sale. Great sustain. Bass was recently restored by Sal Giardina. He put a new bassbar, three heart bridge, renecked it keeping original scroll, glued and cleated any cracks. Comes with a Fishman full circle pickup and Bobelock gigbag. I found another bass made by master builder Josip Rohrbacher 1934 with a very similar label, I think the word Braca means Brothers. Believe this bass was made in Croatia just south of Hungary. This is the best sounding bass I've ever owned. String length is 42 5/8ths. I live close to New Orleans. price $20,000 call Jim 504-559-2384.
