1942 3/4 Kay Viol for sale

I have a well-used and greatly loved Kay bass for sale. From my research it is a 1942 model. If you are looking for a pristine-looking bass, then this one is not for you. I played it for several years in a bluegrass band. It looks rough as a cob, but I think it has a great tone. My circumstances have recently changed, so I need to sell it, but it feels like I'm selling an old friend.

The serial tag says Genuine Kay Bass Viol 0-10013 Model Ser. No. 9873. I tried to get a good picture of the tag, but it did not come out well. I'd be glad to post more pics and answer questions as best I can. I'm asking $1400 OBO. I am located in Missouri.

Cool-- more pics, please. Scroll, wear the neck hits the body, bridge/tailpiece, etc. What's the action like?
