| 1952 Kay M-1 Fingerboard The heel crack on my 1952 Kay M-1 neck finally gave out. I'm taking the opportunity to replace the neck and get a standard radius fingerboard. I have the original fingerboard for sale. It's in unbelieveably good condition for its age & would still rate good to excellent condition regardless of age. It's Brazilian Rosewood and has all the normal dimensions of a 50's Kay fingerboard. It does have the Romberg bevel (flattened area on "E" string side) which is why I'm NOT using it on my new neck. I have no price set yet, but would consider offers. I'm really trying to determine a fair price. I already have luthiers trying to buy it for making replacement bridges for old Martin acoustic guitars. It needs to go on an old Kay bass if you can live with the bevel. I read the sticky that said I must name a price. Since I have no idea what this is worth, I'm going to start at the price of a new board from Englehardt; $350.
