1968 Framus (German) laminate cutaway bass. I don't want to sell this bass but I have to in order to fix another. Tried and true - used in live performances and recordings. Great for all players, pizzs and arcos well. Lively and full sound.

This is a hard to find cutaway. It makes playing the upper register a breeze.

Take a look at the pictures and come to play it.

Give a call 503-975-9165. Don't mind the crazy recording, it's me. Leave a message if I'm not there and I'll call you back.

located in portland,OR buyer pays shipping

Some pics.

Hi Dave,

I played this bass at Trade Up Music on Sunday 8/7. Not bad, fast neck, sounds like a Kay. What I did like was the cutaway - very easy to get to the upper register.

Will you take $2500? I'm in Seattle however my son lives in Portland - I can pay cash.

George

cutaway

That bass is a beauty, man!!
Sorry to hear you're selling it. I play on a cutaway as well.
By the way, easy to find in Europe. If ever you feel like getting one in again, feel free to contact me. They are not very expensive here.
Here are a few pics...
