| 1977 Johan Rauner Plywood for sale
Selling my 1977 Johan Rauner Plywood. The story on the bass is that it was abondoned in high school basement in Montezuma Creek Utah which is a small dusty town near 4 corners. I got the bass for a cash "donation" to the music dept. A luthier in Durango replaned the fingerboard, refinished the nut, replaced the tailwire, fitted a new soundpost and fitted a new bridge. I also had some followup work done to eliminate a buzz on the A string in the thumb position. The bass has no open seams or structural problems. I used this bass for bluegrass and jazz and it worked great. I'm selling it to fund my new hybrid. Included is a K&K Bass Max and a Bob G bass bag.
$2000.
I am not willing to ship the bass. I live in Asheville, NC and will drive up to 2 hours to meet with a potential buyer.
