This is American Standard serial #66, which is one of the lowest know serial #s,,this bass is in complete original condition,no edge wear no finnish checks and one two small scratches on the entire bass,, the original clear laquer is on the back of the neck,,original rosewood board,original A/S tailpiece, and as far as I know the endpin is original.I would have too place it as a mint++,,asking $5000.00 firm. All AS basses I have seen that are this old are much darker in color. Has this bass been in a light sealed vault!?! What a thing of beauty. Thanks for the pictures Kent and best of luck with the sale.
