| 2 french bows for sale I am in need of some extra cash to pay off my bass sooner, so I decided to sell my 2 backup french bows. One is a Robertson and Sons carbon fiber bow with snakewood frog. It is in very good condition, and last time I checked, I paid $1500 for it a few years ago, and I'm sure the prices have gone up since. The white part of the tip is broken off, but other than that, its a great bow. Doesn't affect the way it plays either. This one has new hair that hasn't had any rosin put on it.
The other is a Marco Raposo bow. I paid $900 for this bow. This one is in great condition as well, with a few minor flaws. It could use a nice french polish to make it shine like it used to. The white part at the tip is also chipped on this one (let a student borrow this one for a while). The stick is very straight with no warpings. The sound out of this bow is much better than the Robertsons bow, but they both sound good. The silver winding has come loose, but I can have my luthier put a piece of leather on there before I ship off the bow. This one could use a rehair, but the hair on there isn't too bad.
Make me an offer on either one separately or both together. They are both great bows, but I switched to french bow and no longer need them, so I figured I would sell my backup french bows to help pay off my bass.
