2004 Shen ¾ Bass (SB100) in NYC

$1200

Sale includes: wheel from David Gage, Gollihur Brazilwood French bow, and case

This is a plywood bass made in February 2004. I bought it new from The Loft Violin Shop in Columbus, Ohio. The bass is now in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

This Shen bass was played heavily for the first year I owned it and saw less and less action until it sat all alone… and thus it sits now. So I’m selling it because my electric bass still tells me what to do and I have no time for the Shen.

Please feel free to contact me with all questions and concerns and I will respond as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Nate Stevens

Also available upon request: photos, and a recording of the bass (pizz and arco) using an Audio Technica 4033.
