This is really a beautiful instrument! I've played it professionally for the last five years. I've always gotten positive feedback on this instrument's sound in both classical and jazz settings.
There are a few cosmetic dings (some belt-buckle marks on the back, a few French bow nicks on the top, a few door-jams on the bottom bout...but these are minimal, nothing out of the ordinary).
This bass was professionally appraised at $12,000 in 2003 (I can provide documentation, of course).
Included is a Mooradian padded gig bag, though it's not in the greatest shape.
I'm not really in any position to ship this thing, but if you have a trunk or other means, I'd be more than willing to make that work. Please feel free to ask any questions. I'm working on getting some more photos.
I am in San Diego and would welcome anyone to come and see the instrument. I'd be willing to drive as far as Salt Lake City, Sacramento, or Albuquerque to deliver the instrument.
