I'm not sure of the maker. There are several of these unnamed Romanian Basses around, from what I'm told. Also, if anyone has a recommendation on how to figure out the year, I'd appreciate it. Also, let me know how to provide measurements (i.e. - what do I measure and from where to where-new to that as well).

Thanks!

I'm interested in the rib-depth measurements. So, measure at the neck joint (where the neck joins the body) outside the back and top plates, then the C bouts (the waist), then down by the end-pin.
The string length... (the vibrating length from the bottom of the nut to the top of the bridge). The top and back measurements. (the widest point across the upper bout and the widest across the lower bout). Then the body length..... From the button on the back....(the highest point on the back where it joins the neck) down to the very bottom of the back. (straight down the middle of the back).
How's about a shot of the scroll and machines? (side shot).
Thanks.
And, BTW, does the bridge have adjusters?

Hey all...
thanks for the help. this forum rocks. I've found some info on it and here's the report:

1. made in Romania, put together by Kolstein (well done shwashwa)

2. made in 1996

3. measurements - (a) string length - 41", (b) bridge adjusters - yes, (c) body length - 44" or 45.5" (depending on whether I include the neck itself), (d) neck joint - either 7" (if it's the piece that joins the bass to neck front to back) or 2" (if its the width of the actual neck), (e) upper bout-21", (f) lower bout-26", (g) c bout - 15". I think that covers it.

Oh yeah. Also, I was misinformed. It's a 3/4, not 7/8. Sorry, I'm learning.
