-H.A. Stohr original Viennese model bow - long, heavy German bow (about 155 gr). Suitable for Brahms and other late repertoire; excellent heavy spiccato, big, lush sound. Excellent condition, new hair. $1800 or best.

- Albert Nurnberger, stamped 'Soviet Occupied', about 126 gr. Hard to beat as a solo bow, it draws an extremely pretty sound with lots of nuance and color. Clean though delicate spiccato, it suits early orchestra rep and light-gauge strings such as Corelli. $4500 or best.

- 3 Chinese-made Pernambuco silver-mounted bows: Viennese model, elliptical stick model, and Pfretzchner model. All like-new condition. The results of my search for the best Chinese bows, these are all well-crafted bows that played better than anything in their price category. Selling the ones I tried at cost. $425 ea.

-Charlie Ogle Workshop 2005 G or D violone, 6 strings, flawless condition, with two bows and a very nice padded bag. Can ship Southwest at buyer's expense.

Violone: $3900. It is the first or second one the maker made of this model, and the fingerboard, varnish and workmanship are much nicer than on the new ones, which are selling for $4500.
