| '70s Roth 3/4 Laminate $1000 *Price Reduced to $1000*
I'm reluctantly selling my Roth 3/4 Upright that I've owned for the past two years. I recently bought a new instrument and have considered keeping this around as my backup bass. After much thought, however, I have decided to sell it. I purchased it from its second owner who bought it from his bass teacher many years ago. He told me it was made sometime in the '70s.
I have played many other entry level instruments (Englehardts, Kays, Meisels, etc.) and never found them to have a sound as warm and subtle as this. So, in many ways, I feel its an extremely nice bass and superior to most other instruments in this price range. Obviously from the photos I've attached, it has some cosmetic imperfections - the plastic coating has chipped of in many spots. However, these nicks are just on the surface. The instrument has no structural flaws or damage.
I will also include a K&K Bass Max with the bass. I am asking for $1000 and am in Chicago. I will not ship the bass but will consider driving to deliver it within a couple hours of the city.
