| Blue Microphones Icicle A/D USB mic converter
This is an adapter with a 3-pin microphone plug at one end, and a mini-USB connector at the other. It's meant to be plugged directly into a microphone or mic cord to convert it into a USB microphone.
It works with dynamic or condenser microphones (it has a built in phantom supply for condenser mics) but I'm told it's best with condenser mics.
