This is a nice solid bass with minor cosmetic blemishes, but NO structural damage or needed repairs. The soft case is pretty shot, but will include a nice Brazil wood bow and upright stand.
The bass has very nice big sound that is great for orchestral work (I played it in orchestras throughout Florida) It also has good action for jazz, but there is no pick-up (I usually used a microphone or played small rooms).
I have not played seriously for a few years and need the money for a new business, so while it pains me to say good-bye, I will take the first serious offer. Local pick-up preferred, if not, shipping arrangements are buyers responsibility.
