This EUB was custom built for me by Martin Clevinger. It was finished in May 2007. In June I discovered that my finances may force me to sell my house which I am desperate to keep. I am liquidating many of my prized possesions. This is one of them. The string heigth is adjustable. It plays like a dream. Tone and action is consistent and beautiful across the full range of the neck. It has a Flamed maple top, Piezos in the bridge and a pick-up system developed by Clevinger called Holosonic. It is housed in the body and uses a floating spruce section of the body which the bridge rides on to emulate the sound of an acoustic instrument. The basic instrument is sold by Clevinger for $3899.00. After addition of the flame top, custom sunburst finish, stand and the addition of a $789.00 hard shell travel case (this is actually a scud missle case. Martin bought a lot of these from the military and converted them to travel cases for his basses. So they are literally "bomb proof"!!!) the bass cost me 5700.00. I am asking $4500.00 for it.
