Eberhard Meinel 3/4 Hybrid Bass

This is a solid ¾ size hybird upright, made in Germany by Eberhard Meinel, probably around 1970. The price is $2800. This bass is available in the Boston or New York area. Very good sound for the price. The carved top gives it a warmer sound than most plywoods. The string length is 40 ½”. The bridge has metal adjusters. The body has a few nicks, but is relatively new looking. With a good setup, this bass sounds better than the popular Chinese factory basses that sell new from about the same price. I recommend this for a student looking to buy a better than average mid-range bass.
