| Emile Dupree French bass bow 4 sale I no longer play double bass and wish to sell my French bass bow. It came with a hand carved bass that belonged to my symphony conductor's father, so the bow is probably circa first half of 1900s. The bow is light brown, round, probably pernambuco. The frog is ebony with mother of pearl inlay. The button is three piece sectional of silver and ebony with pearl dot inlay in end of the cap. The very tip of the ebony tip is broken. I believe the lapping is silver and leather (not positive). The bow is marked "Emile Dupree" on the wood above the frog. I personally have not used this bow since the late nineties, so it may need rehairing. Please see pictures. I will take $500 plus s/h. I will only take payment through PayPal. Thanks for reading!
