I got a new bass recently and it came with this pickup. I don't need it. I had the preamp already, and I used to use it but don't anymore. The amp I use has a good enough preamp in it for my taste. It is an older-style Pro-Eq: metal chassis, made in USA. I only have one screw holding the back on, but it stays on well. I did this because you have to take out all the screws to change the battery, and taking out all 6 in the middle of a gig is a pain. It will also run on AC, but I don't have a power cord for it.
I thought I'd sell them together, because the BP-100 seems to benifit from having a preamp.
I'll ask $175 for both shipped, I could be flexible. I could split them up, but I'm more interested in selling the pickup than the preamp. I could probably have a use for a preamp for something someday, but I don't think I'll ever need that pickup.
