Flight Trunk for Rent: 4/4 size Kolstein Uni-Air

Older model Kolstein Uni-Air flight trunk for rent in SF Bay Area. $80/week, two week max.

It fits full size basses, and most basses can fit with their cover on. It's in great shape and has worked flawlessly for me.

Kolstein flight trunk

Raven11, can you tell me how much the Kolstein flight trunk weighs when it is empty, please.

And can you send me a couple photos, one interior, one exterior?

MTIA.
Best regards,

Bill, the trunk ways about 70lbs empty. I can't give you a precise weight right now, but you can contact Kolstein Music 516-546-9300 and ask them the precise weight for the original Uni-Air Bass Carrier and they should be able to help.

I'll work on getting some photos for you.

if you have any plans to be in the SF Bay Area, you are welcome to come by and look at it.

Kolstein flight trunk

I e-mailed Kolstein; they have not responded. The exact weight of the empty trunk is critical. If you are interested in renting it, would you please put it on a bathroom scale and let me know the weight.

MTIA.

Bill, I don't have a scale. Perhaps I can borrow one. If it complies with your weight needs, when would you need to rent it, and for how long? If you're pretty serious about renting it, I'm sure I can find some way to get a hold of a scale.

Flight trunk rental

[If it complies with your weight needs, when would you need to rent it, and for how long?]

From about April 7 to about 12. I'd probably have to come by earlier w/ my bass to examine the fit as well.

Bill, that works with my schedule. I'll get a hold of a bathroom scale and let you know ASAP. I'm concerned that bathroom scales aren't incredibly accurate, but it might be the best we can do for now.

Has Kolstein written you back yet?
